Suggestions and Complaints Procedure

Back2Life Clinics Ltd endeavours to make sure you receive the highest standard of care during your time as a patient. We welcome comments about the services we offer and regret any patient having cause to make a complaint. We accept and are sorry that, on occasion, the service we give may not be to an individual’s satisfaction. Consequently if you are unhappy with the standard of care you have received or with the way we have organised your care, we would like to hear about it and recognise that it may be important for you to make a complaint.

Back2Life Clinics Ltd takes all comments, suggestions and complaints seriously; listening to what you have to say can help us improve the quality of what we do to better meet your needs and the needs of the community.

Informal complaint

If you would like to make a complaint this can be done informally by simply speaking to those concerned or somebody in the organisation you feel comfortable talking to. In the majority of cases complaints can be satisfactorily dealt with in this way. However, if you feel that this does not resolve the matter to your satisfaction, you can then make a formal complaint.

Formal complaint

If you are thinking of making a formal complaint, please read the Back2Life Clinics Ltd, Osteopathic Clinic Patient Complaints Policy in full, so that you understand the process. You will also need to complete a formal complaints form. Both the Policy and complaints forms are available in the following ways:

From the Back2Life Clinics Ltd team – either ask in person, or call 01324 670670

Email to request the policy and form –

Request the policy and form by writing to Back2Life Clinics Ltd 54b Cow Wynd, Falkirk

If you are unhappy we'd much rather hear about it than not. Please get in touch if there's anything you'd like to discuss or say.

It is hard to find a more friendly, professional and dedicated to wellness team than this. Helen and Dave have restored my youth...or at least my ability to move and enjoy playing with my son. I cannot thank you enough!

As a musician I live with the a lot of aches and pains. I've tried many many things over the years to feel better. David McCabe has changed my life and given me relief and freedom in my body that I'd given up hope of ever feeling. David and Helen are the nicest people you could meet but are also thoroughly professional and brilliant at what they do. I have recommended them to many of my friends and colleagues. Can't thank them enough. Back2Life Clinic is the best. Thank you David and Helen.

My life was on hold due to chronic back pain and I lost 4 years of my life waiting for the NHS to help/cure me. After a recommendation I visited the Back2Life clinic. After just 3 months I was able to work again and since then I finally got married and had a baby. The name says it all.... They really did help me Back2Life!

Very professional and welcoming. Took my 12 week baby as he was having problems 'winding'. After 2 sessions with Helen he is so much better - so much happier and I don't dread feeding times and endless hours of trying to wind. Highly recommend trying if you have a wee one with colicky symptoms.

Stay at home to stop coronavirus spreading

online9

Everyone must stay at home to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

You should only leave the house for 1 of 4 reasons:

  • shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible
  • one form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle – alone or with members of your household
  • any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
  • travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home

Important

These 4 reasons are exceptions – even when doing these activities, you should be minimising time spent outside of the home and ensuring you are 2 metres apart from anyone outside of your household.

In response to current guidance, Helen and David have taken the difficult decision to temporarily cease face to face consultations at Back2Life Clinics as of 9 am on Monday 23 March 2020.

We will instead be offering online services using video calls. These have proved invaluable to patients benefitting from diagnosis, reassurance, lifestyle and exercise advice with personalised exercise sheets delivered via email.

In taking this decision, we have weighed up the benefit of face to face consultations versus the risk of increasing spread of coronavirus. Our priority is the wellbeing of our patients, staff and the wider community. We anticipate that we will continue to deliver high-quality care for people with aches, pains and stiffness.
