Natural treatments for pain in Falkirk and Stirling

Join Our Team

We’re always keen to hear from qualified or soon to be qualified osteopaths who are thinking of joining our team. We are a growing practice and while David and Helen are both BCOM graduates, we have had osteopaths from most of the UK colleges join our team over the years. We believe that different osteopaths will bring different personal and technical skill sets to the clinic and that we can all work together to find the best treatment pathway for individual patients.

Living and Working in Falkirk.

falkirk wheelFalkirk is an old market town and home to the iconic Kelpies, Falkirk Football Club and Callendar Park with its impressive mansion house. With Edinburgh and Glasgow only about half an hour away by train or car, and Stirling, Loch Lomond and the outdoor playground of the Trossachs a short journey to the north, it’s an excellent spot to set up home and considerably cheaper to rent or buy than in the cities.

KelpiesAs of early 2020, Back2Life Clinic is still the only osteopathic centre in the town with a large catchment area towards North Glasgow, West Lothian, Stirling and even Fife. Over the last 16 years in Falkirk, we have seen everyone from office workers to farmers, stay at home mums (and their babies) to sports people and the occasional tourist passing through. Treating patients in our clinic is varied and interesting and the Falkirk locals are wonderfully warm and friendly, so you’ll feel at home in no time!

Whether you’ve been in practice for 20 years and fancy a change of scene or you’re fresh out of your FCC and can’t wait to get your career on the go, if you’d like to chat to us about opening a diary within the Back2Life family, give us a call on 01324 670 670 or pop your CV over to .

Stay at home to stop coronavirus spreading

online9

Everyone must stay at home to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

You should only leave the house for 1 of 4 reasons:

  • shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible
  • one form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle – alone or with members of your household
  • any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
  • travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home

Important

These 4 reasons are exceptions – even when doing these activities, you should be minimising time spent outside of the home and ensuring you are 2 metres apart from anyone outside of your household.

In response to current guidance, Helen and David have taken the difficult decision to temporarily cease face to face consultations at Back2Life Clinics as of 9 am on Monday 23 March 2020.

We will instead be offering online services using video calls. These have proved invaluable to patients benefitting from diagnosis, reassurance, lifestyle and exercise advice with personalised exercise sheets delivered via email.

In taking this decision, we have weighed up the benefit of face to face consultations versus the risk of increasing spread of coronavirus. Our priority is the wellbeing of our patients, staff and the wider community. We anticipate that we will continue to deliver high-quality care for people with aches, pains and stiffness.
