We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the generosity of patients, passer’s by and friends, we managed to acheive our target total for the cycle ride. Richard and I managed to ride into John O’ Groats in a blaze of glory (in the rain!) on 19 September.
The facts of the cycle are:
- Total distance covered = 1002.5 miles
- Total falls from bike = 3 (all David – those b!*%$dy clip-on pedals!)
- Total money raised on the road = £550
- Total money raise = £2700!!!!!!!
Thanks to all. Both Richard and I are humbled dy the support we received. It made all the difference when cycling in the rain (most days). Work can now start on the sensory room for Alyssa. We shall keep you updated on it’s progress.
